DESCRIPTION: The AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals has been conducted annually since 1946. It is administered in the fourth quarter of each year to all AHA registered and nonregistered facilities (N=6800). This survey covers areas related to facilities and services and their use, staffing, finances, and administration.
