DESCRIPTION: The Health and Retirement Study (HRS) is a national longitudinal study that focuses on persons born between the years 1931 and 1941 and their health, retirement, and economic status. It is "a cooperative agreement between the Institute for Social Research at the University of Michigan and the National Institute on Aging."

tab within each wave will direct you to the various topical subjects for each wave. The Search Functions tab within a wave limits your searches to that wave.
