Internal Revenue Service (IRS) County to County Migration Data

STIPULATIONS FOR USE: Access to files on PopNet limited to Penn State PRI researchers.
DESCRIPTION: County migration flow data show migration patterns, from where to where, by county, based on year-to-year changes in tax return address. They are based on administrative records (income tax returns) from the Internal Revenue Service's Individual Master File (IMF) which includes a record for every Form 1040, 1040A, and 1040EZ individual income tax return filed by citizens and resident aliens with the IRS.
